Creating An Effective Internet Marketing Message And Solving Problems

The 4 Quadrant of Learning will help you quickly identify your marketing message and what internet business interests you the most. Making sure you have all 4 quadrants covered ensures you are speaking to as many people as possible.
In finding a niche market, let’s use the 4 Quadrant of Learning Technique
- Why?: Thinking of the why brings up questions of why something is important. Thinking of the “whys” of what you want to sell will help you better communicate to customers why it is they need your product. This also helps you in determining the niche market you would like to explore.
- What?: These are the details and features of what your idea does and how to narrow down your niche market. The DOS technique comes from Dan Sullivan’s company Strategic Coach and is an effective way of identifying and solving problems. DOS stands for (dangers / opportunities / strengths). It is all about solving dangers and utilizing strengths to capitalize on opportunities.
A good example of a way to utilize DOS to think about a situation is this. Imagine your company has a goal of getting 500 new customers per month which would result in $50,000 per month of revenue.
Using the DOS technique, you would think about and write down any dangers you see in reaching these objectives. Also you would write down and explore any opportunities the company could capitalize on in order to turn these dangers into benefits. And lastly, you would look inward at yourself to explore and write down the strengths you have to solve each danger and capitalize on some opportunities.
Creating an effective internet marketing strategy depends on asking you a lot of questions and also knowing how to tackle problems and issues while capitalizing on business opportunities. Using the 4 Quadrant of Learning and the DOS techniques, you will be armed for just about anything and will always be pro-active in moving your business forward.

It’s always the main goal of every business-catering to meet people’s needs. I have heard it from my college professor before that it is also effective to create a need. If the business that you want to venture into have so many competitors you can always create a niche of your own and create a need so that you will have a market.
