Creating An Effective Internet Marketing Message And Solving Problems
An effective business depends on creating a great marketing message to help identify a way to get a point across and also how well you tackle problems in your business. Your success is directly related to how well you can sell your product and knock out any potential roadblocks. Whether you want to have an internet business related to selling widgets or computer services, you’ll want to apply these two techniques to help you sort through the mess of problems you will encounter and get to the heart of your business.
The techniques most commonly used are the 4 Quadrant of Learning techniques in setting up your marketing message and also the DOS technique to help solve problems and issues.
The 4 Quadrant of Learning will help you quickly identify your marketing message and what internet business interests you the most. Making sure you have all 4 quadrants covered ensures you are speaking to as many people as possible.
In finding a niche market, let’s use the 4 Quadrant of Learning Technique
- Why?: Thinking of the why brings up questions of why something is important. Thinking of the “whys” of what you want to sell will help you better communicate to customers why it is they need your product. This also helps you in determining the niche market you would like to explore.
- What?: These are the details and features of what your idea does and how to narrow down your niche market. We have done research over dozens of sites that have already compiled most of this data (niche markets) and we have narrowed it down to 5254 data points or best possible markets for you to explore. These are markets you can quickly reach online and get started right away.
- How?: How explains how your product works. This can be done through tutorials or demonstrations. We have a magic formula regarding how to go through the niche list and determine what you have a passion for and what internet marketing message would be good for you.
- What If/Real World: This shows how our marketing message applies to real world examples and how you can meet your business goals online. With your idea and passion set, you can apply this to gain real world income.
The DOS technique comes from Dan Sullivan’s company Strategic Coach and is an effective way of identifying and solving problems. DOS stands for (dangers / opportunities / strengths). It is all about solving dangers and utilizing strengths to capitalize on opportunities.
A good example of a way to utilize DOS to think about a situation is this. Imagine your company has a goal of getting 500 new customers per month which would result in $50,000 per month of revenue.
Using the DOS technique, you would think about and write down any dangers you see in reaching these objectives. Also you would write down and explore any opportunities the company could capitalize on in order to turn these dangers into benefits. And lastly, you would look inward at yourself to explore and write down the strengths you have to solve each danger and capitalize on some opportunities.
Creating an effective internet marketing strategy depends on asking you a lot of questions and also knowing how to tackle problems and issues while capitalizing on business opportunities. Using the 4 Quadrant of Learning and the DOS techniques, you will be armed for just about anything and will always be pro-active in moving your business forward.

Exactly! To create a successful online career you need the ability to create a service which will solve people’s problems.
I think this is the first thing to keep in mind when starting a business online.

It’s always the main goal of every business-catering to meet people’s needs. I have heard it from my college professor before that it is also effective to create a need. If the business that you want to venture into have so many competitors you can always create a niche of your own and create a need so that you will have a market.

I agree. Like what most experts say, if you really want to sell, you should be able to answer and solve people’s problems. After having a product with this characteristic, you should not have a hard time selling.
Great article, thanks!
